About Matthew

Matthew is a Principal Clinical Psychologist and he provides services to individuals, groups and organisations to improve physical and psychological health, to reduce distress, to help people achieve their goals and create a meaningful and fulfilling life.

Matthew works in both the NHS and in private practice. In the NHS he is a senior psychologist specialising in the application of psychological theory to the management of serious illness or injury and has led psychology services in pain management, cardiac services and intensive care services. He also works with adults experiencing a range of other psychological and behavioural difficulties - please see the 'Services for Individuals' tab for more details.

 

Matthew recently left a senior role within a City of London consultancy to develop an independent private practice closer to home. Alongside his clinical work, Matthew also delivers psychological skills training programmes to local businesses, FTSE 100 organisations and other NHS Trusts to improve staff health and wellbeing. He has worked for the NHS for the past eleven years.
